In this collection of short, fictional graphic stories, Tristant explores the anatomy of Anorexia Nervosa, the prevalence of mood instability in Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and the nature and effects of child grooming. "Unsteady" poses a candid exploration of mental health, and by freely addressing conditions and situations such as Anorexia Nervosa, BPD, and child grooming, she aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.

A Sleep

Tristant’s graphic memoir, “A Sleep”, chronicles her life before and after being diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD). Through vignettes tinted with colors of abandonment, abuse, and loss, she delves into the foundations of her BPD. “A Sleep” poses a candid exploration of mental health in the context of the author’s personal experiences. By addressing conditions such as BPD, eating disorders, and anxiety through a personal lens, she aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness. Dark but hopeful, Tristant’s incredibly honest short story memoir showcases her struggle to find the roots of, and ultimate meaning behind, her diagnoses.
